Industrial Post Punk / Marseille (FR)
Duo féminin-masculin de punk industriel. Petits, méchants, rapides et torturés, ils aiment ce qui est sale, collant, humide et sombre... avec des éclats de rire passés dans une chambre d'écho d'un autre âge.Textes noirs et teigneux. Riffs de guitare lourds et acérés, mélodies électroniques et bruitistes obsédantes et rythmes-marteau.
Le duo présente la symbiose parfaite entre Chrome, Suicide, Big Black et Ministry. Vocaux meurtriers lacérés d'effets, rythmique éléctronique malsaine, riffs en boucles et une quantité de samples pour ajouter à l'ambiance. Alors que bien des formations oeuvrant dans une démarche similaire se laissent tenter par des aspects technoides, Grrzzz s'inscrit dans une optique bien plus indus old school sans pour autant renier des sonorités contemporaines. Au lieu de l'avalanche de beats habituels, nous nous trouvons face à des atmosphères, des vraies. Malsaines, tendues, explosives!!
